The team developed an AI-powered solution that can analyze hair quality, structure, and orientation from a single-view image, providing insights into fizziness and combing patterns, without the need for specialized imaging equipment. The solution features bulk hair segmentation, alpha matter generation, strand and depth map estimation, and 3D hair reconstruction. As a result, the client was able to develop better hair care products and enhance customer satisfaction by offering personalized recommendations.
